We don't have this particular error, but often errors that are close in
number have similar fixes. Please see error 3280 and 16999

<http://www.entourage.mvps.org/errors.html#Anchor-error16999>

If it's a damaged message, use online access to delete. Probably a bad spam
HTML message.

Go to Tools/Accounts/that account/Edit/Options. Check "Allow online access".
That puts an icon of your account in the Folder List.

Click on the account icon. You're now looking at the messages on the server.

If you normally don't leave messages on the server, the problem message will
be the oldest one. (Go to View/Columns/Received/ if there's no Received
column.) Sort on Received column to find the oldest one. If you normally DO
leave messages on the server, it will be the oldest one with a jagged
partial envelope icon (not downloaded).

Turn off Preview Pane. Now you can select it, then click or press Delete to
mark it for deletion, then cmd-M for Send & Receive All to delete it and
download the others. If more than one message is corrupt, you'd have to
repeat this.
