There's your mistake. Hotmail was fairly good when it first started, but has never really recovered from Microsoft buying it. When they tried to convert it from Unix to Windows, it blew up spectacularly and they switched it back, but it has been plagued with delivery errors (e.g. mail addressed to you going to some other Hotmail account, erroneous bounces) and outages ever since. It has an even worse reputation than AOL in sysadmin circles. Among free email services, I can strongly recommend FuseMail, which offers all the services you expect, including spam and virus filtering) and is advertising free. But you can't access it via Entourage, only the web. <http://www.fusemail.com/> If you want POP access for checking with Entourage, check out HotPOP. You will get ads but can opt out for a fee. They also offer spam protection. <http://www.hotpop.com/> HTH, peter -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
