Casady & Greene was just a publisher for SpellCatcher; they weren't the developer. Raintree Research has develeoped it since 1985 and continues to Support and update it. http://www.spellcatcher.com/ I use both TypeIt4Me and SpellCatcher, and prefer TI4M. It doesn't have as many bells and whistles, but it seems a little friendlier and I've used it daily for many years...couldn't work without it!
