Thanks Barry. That will work nicely for the scenario I described.
Questions:
I've used a "base-href" to prevent unloaded images. Will it work with the script in lieu of absolute paths to all images in the html? I believe IE Win inserts a base-href tag when you send just any web page that you happen across by File>Send Page>by email.
Will the script work from Safari?

Take a look at the script “Send Complex HTML” or something similar at the
same web page – this does what you want.
