(Using Ent X, OS 10.3.2)

In my office, I have DSL. At home, dial up. The phone company says my home line cannot be converted to DSL. I don't want to pay for cable (especially because my television is connected just to the DVD player and I have no interest in connecting it to a billion channels). I've seen "web accelerators" offered, but they seem to apply only to PCs. Is there any other choice to speed the connection for Macs? Someone told me that MSN offers something but it is not good. I know that's an unfair question to ask, since some of you are associated with Microsoft. Thanks again for your friendly knowledge.
