(Panther, iChat AV 2.1beta) I'm trying to get the audio to work on my iChat and it does work with some Buddies. With others the sound won't work. I'm told it's because I connect through a router (Trendnet TW100-S4W1CA) that sets up a firewall.
Therefor I went to this page: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=93208 which says that that is a common problemm that cann be easily solved by opening ports 5060, 5190, 5298, 5353, 5678 and 16384-16403 or - if that doesn't work - all in range 1024-65535. I've connected to my router and written in these portnumbers manually in the column for "Forward" (as opposed to "Filter") - all in UDP and 5190 and 5298 in both UDP and TCP. After that I couldn't connect to the internet at all. Does anybody have any experience with this? I'll be very grateful for any assistance.
