Well, no - actually I didn't try it, 'cause that "saving yes/no /ask" was so clearly intended for regular content creation apps whose documents might need to be saved (or not). Entourage is not that sort of app, at least for this purpose. And with my regular schedule set to check e-mail every minute, the chance of there being a network connection active at any particular point in time is relatively small. I suppose I might try to figure out if there's a timeout on that dialog, or other method to determine if there's an active connection, or go with your UNIXish 'kill -pid' method. The intended goal is a set of cron tasks that will (in the middle of the night): 1) quit Entourage and the Database Daemon (with appropriate error/contingency handling) B) back up the MUD folder III) re-launch Entourage Open nets... -- Norman Ferguson | Dir of Technology Services | Tekgnosys 1917 Maylin Drive; Suite 103, Salem VA 24153 cell: 540-819-4014 ofc: 540-387-4422 iChatAV: [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://www.tekgnosys.com -- To unsubscribe: <mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]> archives: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.letterrip.com/> old-archive: <http://www.mail-archive.com/entourage-talk%40lists.boingo.com/>
