Exchange server services

In the new Office, will Ent better integrate with Exchange servers.  I 
am the only Mac on a small network (60 users) and have trouble 
synchronizing contacts with the server.  My assistant enters contacts 
to the server via her PC using my Outlook identity but they do not show 
up when I look in the previous version of Ent.  I am running Panther.
