No. That _is_ what DateBk5/Pimlico Software says:

Then do a search for "Will  DateBk5 work with the Palm Desktop and other
Desktop Software? " and you'll find the paragraph where it explains all.
Now, you can argue that they're lying or mistaken, but that's what Pimlico
says and you can take it up with them if you disagree ;-)

It also doesn't alter the fact that Palm Desktop's own conduits synchronise
categories for events when they're present. Work out whatever theory you
want about that (because, of course, PalmOne/Source does spend a huge amount
of time on Mac synchronisation software as we all know and so are entirely
willing to reverse engineer Pimlico's kludge and incorporate it into their
own synchronisation software), but it does happen.
