Thanks to all who posted on the ‘Invisible email ‘problem.
I did rebuild the Database & that seems to have worked, as the invisible ones are gone. It was suggested I export the messages. Sorry to be dense, but which messages, where to, etc.?
I’ve also caught a glimpse of a fake name in my Entourage address book: “hot_(fill-in-the-blank)@water-pistol.com”! I say glimpse, as I cannot find it again to eradicate it!

Just open up your inbox, go to File: Export and select all messages. If it works well, all is good.
