Note Glenn had a personal rule to sort his "news from Apple". All of his
other rules dealt with junk.

The key to getting the JMF to work is your Address Book. The JMF never
assigns messages from contacts in your Address Book to the Junk category.
If mail is mistakenly marked as Junk by the JMF, open the message, click on
"This is not junk mail" and select the best option.

I always assign a Category to contacts. This way I can create a rule that
moves all messages with that category to the folder that I assign.

One of my categories is announcements. I use this for all the legitimate
mail I get like software updates, Amazon specials etc. Another category is
Newsletters. In this group is Apple Newsletters, ATPM, KB changes, tibBITS
etc.

Using categories will cut down on the number of rules you will have to make.
