A while back, I switched from using entourage X on an older Mac to a newer
one. I dragged my user folder over to the new computer, started using it and
everything was basically fine. However, I have 2 separate identities ( one
for e-mail list data), and I noticed that one of them always needed me to
put the password and for the older file shared Mac before it would get the
mail ( even though wasnt using the older Mac anymore for this purpose).

Recently, I updated to Office 2004, and it appears that the same thing is
basically happening ... however now, this particular identity just waits for
ever to get the mail, until I actively take the older Mac out of sleep mode,
where it appears to connect to something it needs ... and then go on and get
the mail.

So it seems as though somehow this particular identity is somehow connected
to the old Mac, even though the user folder is on the New computer.

Question: is there some kind of preference or something that I can change
or delete to fix this problem? ( as a last resort - I could recreate this
identity from scratch - but I would rather not)
