Hi I'm trying to resolve a problem on a mac 17" powerbook running OS 10.3.5 and Entourage X. This is my former bosses computer and she is afraid her husband has been 'tinkering' on the powerbook.
Anyway, she came to me because she couldn't receive mail. In fact, she can - but she must use the pull-down 'tools' menu to select 'send and and receive all.' A little investigating shows that none of the buttons in Entourage work. They appear to be dead. Creating a new message, the buttons on the new message don't work. Even going into the accounts dialog box, none of the buttons work. She says that the icon for the scripts menu at the top of her screen appeared at the same time as the symptoms. So I'm thinking that perhaps the buttons are in fact links to scripts, and these scripts have been moved or deleted. Can anyone shed any light on this problem. I can reinstall entourage, but I'd love to figure out what is causing this problem!?
