Next time you get the warning, try doing a Verify with the Database Utility
before you repair it. I'm guessing it will tell you that ' BlockID x has an
unknown checksum'. This is a problem I and a handful of others on the list
have been seeing, but there doesn't seem to be a lasting fix other than
starting over with a fresh database, unfortunately.

While I'm seeing fewer cases of irreparable database corruption in E'rage
2004 than in v.X, we do seem to have more glitches like this and the
database losing track of already downloaded messages. Fingers crossed that
the next Entourage update will address these...
