If you are _only_ running office then I doubt you would see much
improvement. As you start to throw more things into the mix, there will come
a point where the reduced disk swapping from the extra ram gives you a
slight advantage, especially when changing between apps, or running apps
that do background processing. Add still more stuff, and the extra ram will
be swapped in & out as well, so the benefit is reduced.

It all depends on how you use your computer...
