Is your Exchange account in Entourage configured to connect to an Exchange frontend or backend server?

Upon trying to continue, I'll get an error: Entourage cannot connect to the Exchange server. Verify that your Exchange account settings are correct. (Error: 277) I'm using Entourage 2004 SP2 (of course), in an Exchange Server 2003 environment that, as I understand it, is configured to not accept any non-SSL/port 80 connections. Can anyone shed any light on what is happening or how I might get this feature working?
