Title: Not configured to allow automatic connections
Hello
(Using OS 10.4, Ent. 2004, v. 11.2)
Since I upgraded to 10.4 and installed Microsoft 11.2, now whenever I enter a name in creating a new email, I get a window stating, “Your Mac OS Network Preferences are not configured to allow automatic connections. You can manually dial up first, or you can change this setting in your modem Preferences, click PPP Options, and then select the “Connect automatically” check box.”
This window used to only come up if I tried to actually send mail when not connected. I don’t want to check “Connect automatically.” I don’t want this window to come up when I create an email. It is fine to come up if I try to send when not connected. Where should I change what setting? Thank you.
Richard
