I'd never had a problem with database corruption in the past, but in the last three weeks I've twice had Entourage 2004 (Version 11.2.1 (051004) - I think that's current :-)) notify me that my database had become corrupt and offer to fix it. I ran the database utility, which rebuilt and then said all was now well. Some of my emails had managed to migrate to different subjects, and messages still on the server were downloaded again, but mostly everything seemed fine. I'm just worried that twice in three weeks, after no problems for years, is indicative of some other problem - is there any way to find out? Thanks. (I don't think it's relevant, but my hard drive died last month and had to be replaced - I reinstalled Office, upgraded things, then moved the database over from a backup).
