HI Paul,

This is a real problem for us as well. Our ISP limits the number of clients we can contact to 50 and we put off sending emails to large distribution lists because it is such a big job to keep building  the distribution lists and resending them.

I tried downloading the “split recipients X” script from the script builders site but It just landed on my desktop as a document of unintelligible text and I didn’t know what to do with it. How do I make it work.

Thanks for your help

Cheers

It has nothing to do with Entourage. Entourage doesn't care how many people
you have in a group. But your ISP probably does. Most ISPs limit the number
of recipients to 200 or fewer. Contact your ISP if there's a problem when
you try to send to the group of 300, and ask them what their limit is. Then
get my free script "Split Recipients X" from

 MacScripter.net   <http://macscripter.net/scriptbuilders/>

and enter the limit (or 1 fewer) in its prefs. When you're ready to send an
email to the group. Run the script instead, and it will take care of things,
splitting the recipients into subgroups equal to the limit, keeping them as
BCC if you have "Do not show group addresses".
