Title: Re: Sending Calendar Events
Thanks so very much, I’ll try to add it to the macro for the event, and just include her as an invitation,
Appreciate it it very much,
Ben

I’ve been quietly lurking for quite some time, and I’d like to thank everyone for their participation in this list, it’s been wildly helpful.  I’ve been looking for the answer to this but am having a hard time.  So I would be very grateful if some one would reply and let me know the easiest way to accomplish this.

I’ve just spent the past half hour scheduling my kids with the babysitter.  I’ve dropped all the dates into my calendar using Quickeys.  (I’m not quite facile enough with Applescript, yet.)   What would be the easiest way to drop all these events into my wife’s Entourage calendar?  I just emailed her all the events that I dragged into an email that I sent.  But, I’m figuring there has to be a more efficient easier way.

If both you and your wife have Entourage (it sounds like you do), instead of "dropping" (attaching?) the events into an email, you could instead open each one up into its own window and click the "Invite" button and send them to her that way. (You can select them all in a custom view - if you sort it by name or category they could be all clumped together, making that easy - and then cmd-O to open them all at once. Or better - just send them as you make them!) You do have to send them individually, making it a bit more trouble for you, but if your wife has "Accept invitations tentatively" checked in her Preferences/Calendar, they will enter her calendar automatically as her Entourage receives the messages, so she does not have to open any attachments at her end. If there's any regularity to the schedule you could make the events as just a few recurring events instead of a whole load of separate events, making it easier to make and send them. Her Entourage will decipher the recurrence and make them the same way there.
