I was just writing an email and I inadvertently hit a wrong key instead of the return key. The window disappeared without warning and now there is no trace of my email. There is nothing in my drafts folder and nothing in my sent items folder. I just did a search for it and there are no documents anywhere containing body text that matches what I was typing.
How is it possible that the window could close without any warning and totally erase my file? I tried to reproduce what happened but no key that I have tried can make it happen again.
Any chance that you minimized it and it's sitting in the Dock (at the right end)?
