Hmmm, mine is a light tan. This is 2008. I would check your monitor settings. In the Folder column, you can show a mini calendar. The date is red. Doesn't show any events. To show the mini calendar, click on the tiny square icon with a triangle inside; it's on the very left side of the status bar at the bottom of Entourage's main window.
