Here are some suggestions that were posted in another thread. Spanning Sync
was highly regarded, but it's the most costly since some are free.
Considering the cost and time to set up Exchange it's probably a good deal.

Spanning Sync - Sync iCal and Google Calendar

<http://blog.spanningsync.com/2008/02/mac-os-x-1052-f.html>

Synchronize Google Calendar and Apple iCal. Share calendars between multiple
Macs. Share calendars with your coworkers, family, and friends. And while
you're at it, connect Google Calendar to your iPod, mobile phone, and other
devices.

"$25 gets you a one-year subscription to the service and $65 gets you a
permanent license.

You can try Spanning Sync free for 15 days, after which you can sign up for
either a $25 one-year subscription or a $65 one-time purchase.
