I've used POP servers instead of IMAP for just one reason. I spend some time
traveling on long flights where I don't have internet access. I know that
all the mail I've received actually lives on my computer, so I can read it
when offline.

It's becoming more and more rare to be unable to find a WiFi site, however,
and the notion of having my mail available on multiple computers without
having to copy the Database file from one to another is intriguing.

So, I'm hoping someone can help me a bit with IMAP concepts. First, does
mail I send from one computer show up in the sent mail folder of all
computers I use for IMAP access to my ISP using Entourage?

Second, what happens with mail I save as draft and don't send? I assume it's
stored only on the computer where it was composed.

Third, how about reading mail on my iPhone? If I use an IMAP server will I
have the same folder structure on the iPhone (3G)? If I delete mail on the
iPhone, will it disappear from my laptop and desktop computers as well?

Thanks so much,

Jim Robertson
