ENTS,

Next week I am heading up to Steuben, Maine (2 peninsulas up from Bar
Harbor), to participate in the week-long seminar "Forest Ecosystem:
Description and Interpretation for Sustained Forestland Values and
Resources" at the Humboldt Institute. The course is taught by Norman
Richards http://www.eaglehill.us/programs/nhs/nhs-calendar.shtml

Does anyone know anything about this place? It looks great and I can't
wait to go - mosquitoes and all! There are so many other great
seminars too - I would have loved to stay an extra week for "lichens
and lichen ecology" (David Richardson and Mark Seaward). If they have
room, I'll probably end up staying - once I get to Maine, I find any
excuse not to leave!

Any experience with this place? Anyone want to come??!!!!! It's July
12 - 18. With lodging and food, it's something like $800. Please
come!!

Jenny
