Vacancy: trAce Assistant Website Editor (freelance)

The trAce Online Writing Centre is seeking an Assistant Website
Editor to help update and maintain our website. This is a rare
opportunity to work for the leading international writers'
community. The suitable applicant will have excellent editing,
HTML and proofreading skills and a speedy response time. They will
be accurate, conscientious, and able to work on their own
initiative. They should be accustomed to working in an online
environment and have a keen interest in writing and the arts. Must
have very regular access to the internet (daily preferred).
Typical duties might include updating and maintaining the news
pages; identifying and fixing broken links; updating and checking
the trAced Resources pages.

This post operates on a freelance basis by contract and involves a
one month trial period. Hours are variable but as a general rule
will be approximately 70 per calendar month, for which we will pay
£7 (UK Pounds) an hour. The post is open to applicants living
anywhere in the world, but access to a desk and computer in our
Nottingham office is available if required.
