A rapidly-expanding non-profit, non-governmental environmental research
institute with global reputation seeks a group of motivated young
researchers to fill the following openings as Researchers in:
1. Energy Project [EP] - fulltime base
2. Oil, Gas, and Mining Project [OGMP] - fulltime base
3. Climate Change and the Clean Development Mechanism Project
[CCP] - fulltime base
4. Facilitator for Renewable Energy Project [FREP] - part-time
contract base
5. Facilitator for Transportation Project [FTP] - part-time
contract-base
Criteria
All candidates should meet the following criteria:
a. Master degree with at least 2 years experience or
undergraduate degree with at least 5 years extensive experience
b. Strong passion and motivation to work for environmental and
sustainable development
c. Demonstrated capability to conduct independent
multi-disciplinary research with minimum supervision; has strong ability to
work in a team and has a strong leadership
d. Demonstrated ability and comfort to work in a bilingual
environment - English proficiency is a must - has capability to write
high-quality research papers and reports both in Indonesian and in English
e. Ability and comfort to interact with all stakeholders in
local, national and international levels
EP - With either engineering, development economics, political science, or
public policy background; experience in multidisciplinary research on the
subjects of energy economics, energy policy, electricity or industrial
restructuring.
OGMP - Strong background in petroleum engineering, geological engineering,
development economics, or public policy; experience in multidisciplinary
research on the subjects of social and environmental impacts of oil, gas,
and mining industries.
CCP, FREP, FTP - Strong background in either business administration,
environmental science, engineering, international trade, international
relations, international law, development economics, political science, or
public policy; experience in multidisciplinary research on the subjects of
climate change.
