Bob, I have "L" glass fever and have been considering trading in my 28-135
for the 28-70. I havent done it cause I'm thinking I'll miss the extra
65mm. I have the 70-200 and 17-35 and they work well for event work and I
love the quality of the prints.
Tamron or Tokina (can't remember which) have been able to pull it off. I
wish Canon would give it a try.
