Is the world really so "spoon fed" these days?
Unless you just finger your cameras for excitement, use a spare frame
and find out.
Draw a rectangle on a plain background, frame it through the
viewfinder then take the picture. As soon as the neg/slide back you
have the answer. Half the fun in life is trying things out, no?
I would bet the overspill may not be uniform on all sides.
As to 100% viewfinders : my 1n more or less agrees with graph paper
