A friend has just informed me that Nikon is about to
introduce a new manual focus body, the FM3A. At
first I laughed out loud thinking that he was trying
to fool me. Did my friend think I was that stupid.
But, then he showed me a website from a Nikon
distributor that had information on this new camaera.
Obviously, somebody is playing a big prank on Nikon
owners. Just what the world needs a new manual focus
camera that will work without any battery power. Are
batteries so rare that photographers can't bring a few
extra with them?
There was also some other nonsense about an improved
D1. Probably part of the same prank. Is it already
April Fool's day in America?
