I suggested to Pierre via private e-mail that he may want to consider gray
also because of the things I've heard about Canon honoring the dependability
of their equipment no matter how it was purchased. And if he did decide to
go gray market, Delta International has the 100-400 going for $1,457 (US).
Not a bad price at all. When I got mine a little over a year ago, I had to
pay full-boat at $1,700 (US). I was just going to "look" at the lens at
Camera World's showroom...Right.
Also, I've heard good things about Delta International on this List
regarding their honesty and how they get a product to you in a timely way.
