I posted to photo.net a couple weeks ago, asking for any reports on
these batteries, but the photo.net moderators, in their typically
random and incomprehensible fashion, shunted the request to the
unmoderated section and it vanished within a day. Frustrating, as I
thought it was a perfectly reasonable question. Much as I appreciate
their service it really seems a tossup as to what the photo.net
people think is a question righteous enough to remain on the system
and what isn't.
Anyway. I've corresponded briefly with one UK user of the batteries
who says they're pretty decent, but that's the only data point I've
had so far. And yeah, the relatively high cost of entry is putting me
off as well. Personally, I'd like to see rechargeable lithium 2CR5s.
They exist for cell phones and laptops; why not cameras?
