Hello Mike,

I just tested it by looking through - not a very thorough test I admit.
My lens has slight barrel distortion from 20-22mm, above it turns into
slight pincushion. I never noticed it in real life, at least not to an
annoying degree. In fact I couldn't notice it even after re-examining
some photos. Tilting the camera produces more noticable effects. I am
happy with it and find the 2.7 (2.8 in fact) as biggest aperture very
useful although it performs better when stopped down a bit.

The lens tends to get soft at the edges when shooting wide open.
Vignetting is no big problem. The lens hood is also included and the
lens cap is really great, better than the ones from Canon as Shashvat
mentioned some days ago. Ok, that's not the deciding argument for
buying this lens but comes in handy. :-)
