You would have to use a short (12mm) extension tube in between the two
TCs to make them pyhysically fit. It's the same problem that prevents
you from using the Canon TCs on most lenses, the protruding front
element. Some lenses still allow you to focus on infinity with the two
TC combo despite the extension tube, I don't know if your zoom is one of
them.

FWIW, two days ago, I ran across a used 1.4x TC. At around US$ 180 for
the TC in absolutely mint condition including the leather case and
original packacking plus 6 months of warranty, I just had to buy it.
Seems like a pretty good deal when compared with new prices.

Anyway, I tried the two TC combo with 12 mm extension tube on my 200/2.8
and it didn't focus to infinity. With the 2x next to the lens, it seems
to go to about 20m, but that's just a rough estimate. With the 1.4x next
to the lens it's even worse.

You would have a 280-1120mm lens, and a *very* slow one at that as well
;-)
