HI All,
I know there was a loupe talk here not too long ago, but one question I have,
I couldn't find answer in archives to.
Question is which loupe is better - 4x or 8x?
I know 8x will give more detail, but will it cover entire 35mm slide? Or do I
have to move it around? Will a good 8x loupe (like Canon or Schneider) be
sharp throughout the whole frame or just center? Or 4x loupe (same brands)
would be good enough for quality slide evaluation?
Up until now I use canon EOS 50/1.8 II lens as a loupe, but find that it
doesn't give me enough sharpnes in the corners, plus not very comfortable to
use for this purpose anyway.

George
