Hi Martijn,
Thanks for your detailed information. It does seem that the ETTL
system is well worth the trade up to a Type A EOS body. I do wish
that there was a simple way to switch between ETTL and plain TTL
for all the flash units (and not just the 550EX). I'm not looking
forward to the dreaded Blinking-Eye ETTL (BEETTL) syndrome :-(
