It works, but barely (I think it loses like 10 stops or something).
This is based on a web page of a person who did the tests, not my own
work. Look through the old posts at either www.dpreview.com or
www.robgalbraith.com. There are messages there that point to the web
page where this experiment is published. It mentions IR in the subject
index under the D30 section (called Canon digital SLR section at
robgalbraith.com, I think).
