I got a D30 from B&H a few weeks ago. I am about to
send in the Mack extended warranty and took a look at
the invoice. To my horror the Mack warranty B&H sold
me for the D30 does not cover the D30. The invoice
said "Mack 3-yr ext warr (pro dig cam) $1600-2000.
Serial # xxxxx". The D30 is ~$2700. I quickly
checked the B&H website again to make sure. That same
Mack warranty is listed as an accessory for the D30.
I ordered the D30 by phone and the sale person didn't
mention anything about the price range the Mack
warranty will cover. He just asked me if I wanted the
extended warranty and I said yes.
Did anybody else get the mack warranty from B&H and
what is on your invoice? I'll call B&H tomorrow with
hope that it's just a typo in my invoice and on the
web. BTW the price of my mack 3-yr is $89.95
