This was just where it said which lens was used--the "official"
information that the lens reports to the camera. Since it was a Tamron
lens, I was surpised it reported the lens at all!. It has been a while
since I have seen it (been shooting wildlife with my longer lenses), but
I believe it says "lens used: 21-39 f/2.8" or something. It reports the
used focal length on the next line or somewhere else. I don't know if
that figure changes with focal distance.
