Just thought that Canon might be listening, so what improvements would you
like to see in your camera in terms of ease-of-use?
I'll start:
EOS30/Elan7E
1. DOF Preview button which can be locked down.
2. APS film loading mechanism - pop-in loading.
3. Snap-lock hotshoe for flash, with secure & quick release.
4. Main dial on BP-300 (can't believe I'm still missing it after all this
while).
5. Back-lit LCD panel.
6. 1 touch exposure metering mode selection.
7. Auto-hyperfocal distance focusing mode - determines FL and aperture, AF
at HF distance.
8. Viewfinder with larger magnification and higher eye-point.
9. Mirror remains up with MLU "on" in Single-Shot continuous-shooting
mode - for silent film advance.
10. Automatic dust protection curtain to replace body cap on lens mount
(something like the aperture diagfram blades).
