Don't know. Maybe the pattern is better... I don't remember how the
pattern was on those cameras. I do recall that the pattern on EOS 1, would
enable the camera to recognize the effect of the sky in the picture for
instance... but it's a long time ago when I had a chance to use EOS 1...
