Today I received a 'Canon EOS System' brochure that I had requested
on the Canon USA www site. In addition to all the EOS film cameras,
it lists two EOS digital camera bodies, the D30 and a D2000.
Is the D2000 the long awaited competitor to the Nikon D1?
The brochure alludes to the fact that the D2000 is based on the
EOS-1N.
The puzzler for me is that the listed resolution for
'The New Standard in Professional Digital Cameras'
is 2 million pixels.
