I have been having trouble getting adequate exposure at apertures below f16,
using 100 ASA film, with my EOS3, 180mm f3.5 L macro and MR-14EX ringlight.
Is this possibly because of the longer working distance of the 180mm macro ?
Or is the gun underpowered ? This possibility occurred to me on reading of a
new Canon ringlight, more powerful than the Mr-14EX. ( see
http://www.techphoto.org/ ).
Anyone else having similar problems ?
