In summary, A-TTL reads light reflected from the film in the camera during 
exposure, whereas E-TTL uses a pre-flash and meters light reflected from 
the subject. E-TTL is the system used by more modern EOS bodies and

For me, happiness is when what I see, what my camera sees, and what my 
flash illuminates are in harmony :)
