Welcome to the club ... Only works with lenses having ring USM AF motors (as in the larger lenses), and, from what I've read, the 50 f1.4USM fitted with a micro-motor USM. The EF85 f1.8 USM may be the most affordable lens with this feature. [Canon's literature seems bedevilled by cautious phrases designed to never give any hint as to what new stuff they may have in the pipeline.]
