Thank you Vesa. I was going to say the same thing about the USA spots - absolutely the most typical tourist shots possible. Not "best" but in my book the "worst". If I HAVE to include the Golden Gate in a shot from my own area, I am extremely attentive to showing some unusual angle, disguising it in some way. Mostly I just avoid it. NOTHING kills a photograph faster than that "Oh that again" feeling. I am going to come up with my own "alternative list" and post it. It owuld be interesting if others did the same.
