Got my 550EX back from Canon. It stopped working after setting up for a "studio" shoot. It didn't fall, just sat there overnight.
Anyhow, they replaced the PCB (primary circuit board?), that's all it said. Took about three-weeks. About a week after I got the flash they sent a questionaire about the service. Nice touch. I visited B&H while in NY on a business trip. All I can say is one word, WWWWOOOOOWWWW! What a place. What a system they have. You go to the counter checkout the item you're interested in. Tell the guy behind the counter, "I'll take one." He gives you a ticket and places the item in a plastic container and somehow gets it on a hook that carries the container overhead to a drop off point where B&H folks are bagging the gear. You take the ticket and go to the cashier area, pay the man and get a receipt and another piece of paper with the item info on it. Then you get in line to actually pick up the item. Amazing. Overall good experience. One nice thing about it (if you're like me and don't like to be bugged by sales people), you pretty much have to ask for help otherwise you're left standing and staring. ASK! --Ian __________________________________________________ Do You Yahoo!? Find the one for you at Yahoo!
