Hello, I am looking for a 45/2.8 TS-E, so if anyone has one for sale, or sees one at a reseller for a decent price, let me know. I am also looking for a 1.4x converter (the old one), if anyone has one to get rid of.
On the TS-E, I have another question...I am planning on using the TS-E to make shots combining two shifted shots...eg, shift 11mm left, shoot, shift 11mm right and shoot, then combine them. I know this is at least a precedented use, if not a common one. But what I want to know is, shouldn't the lens front stay in place when taking a shot like this, while the camerabody/back shifts to the side to keep perspective the same for both shots? Otherwise, the perspective will differ by 22mm--obviously not too important for landscapes, but for table top close ups and such, it would make a pretty serious difference I would think. Am I correct here, or am I missing something about the shifting action. And yes, I know that if I shift it all the way one way, then the other, and stitch, I will get no perspective correction action. Thanks very much for your help, Mike -- Michael Shupe M.J.Shupe Photography Michigan Tech University www.northernlightsgallery.com * **** ******* *********************************************************** * For list instructions, including unsubscribe, see: * http://www.a1.nl/phomepag/markerink/eos_list.htm ***********************************************************
