Thanks for alerting us to the existence of this lens. I am very excited about this because I knew Canon was going to release a new lens to replace the 28-70mm f/2.8L but I didn't know what the magnification range would be. A 24-105mm lens is a very practical range to have. So if anyone has more info on this lens, please keep us in the loop! :) The other lens that I have been uhming and aahing about for a while is the Canon EF 28-135mm f/3.5-4.5 IS lens.
