Just a quick note. Received back some 8x10 prints for an association I was doing head and shoulder shots for. I was using my EOS-3 with 550EX and Portra 400VC (rated at 320). You can see every hair in the print and every whisker in the gentleman's near 5 o'clock shadow. I had considered using my 135mm F2.0L but opted for the zoom. It was at 135mm and set at F8 (1/60 sec) and I have to say I was more than surprised as to the sharpness and clarity. Wow!!! For those that think the 28-135mm IS lens is not sharp, best think again.
